Simpson Catherine (Miss)

Miss Catherine SIMPSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Simpson, 107 Simpson Street died at the family home at 12:40 p.m. today, Miss Simpson passed away following an illness of several years from tuberculosis. She had been undergoing treatment at the Rockville sanitarium for some time returning to her home here two weeks ago. Miss Simpson was born Sept 16, 1893, in the home where she died. She was a gradaute of Crawfordsville HS with the class of 1912 and following her graduation attended Oberlin College in Ohio. Prior to her illness Miss Simpson took an active part in the Crawfordsville Music Club. Those surviving are the parents, two sisters, Sue and Doris Simpson and one brother, Stanley Simpson. She was a talented and popular young woman of this city but during recent years had been unable to take any part in active life on account of the serious illness which kept her bedfast. Besides the immediate family this well known young woman, leaves a host of friends to mourn her death. - kbz
